Junior Church: Ages 4-5 Class

Everything we do in Junior Church is for one singular purpose – that the children experience God for themselves.  We don’t want our children to merely learn about God; we want them to know Him intimately.  When children have a real life experience with Jesus, their lives are truly changed.  The goal in Junior Church is to lead the children to chase after God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Children are given the opportunity to worship the Lord, pray together, and for each other.  They often receive visits from Bible characters and unique individuals who help with the lesson.  There’s crafts, object lessons, snacks, and testimony time, where the children share what God has been doing in their lives.

Junior Prayer: Ages 5-12, Thursday Evenings

As a child becomes a teenager, it is unfair to expect them to know God’s presence if they have never developed a relationship with Him as a child.  If we don’t lead them, how are they expected to know?  Experiencing God fully, without a solid foundation in Him, is unlikely.  Junior Prayer is more than a typical Sunday School class; it is a time of intense worship and seeking God.  It creates a firm basis to help children grow into adults that hunger and thirst for the things of God.  Junior Prayer is about children knowing the reality of Jesus, His love for them, His plans, and His presence.
