Children ages four - 12 join together during the weekly Corporate Prayer meeting to pray and seek God. Training our children to recognize and understand the presence of God and the importance of prayer are the key purposes of Junior Prayer. As a child becomes a teenager, it is unfair to expect them to know the Presence of God if they had never developed a relationship with God as a child. If we don’t lead them, how are they expected to know? Experiencing God fully without a solid foundation in Him is unlikely. Junior Prayer is more than a Sunday school class, but rather a time of intense worship and seeking God for children ages five to 13. It lays a firm foundation to help children grow into adults that hunger for the things of God. Junior Prayer is about children knowing the realities of God; His love for them, His plans and His presence. JR.
